Fondation Saint Hubert

The Saint-Hubert Foundation supports people with disabilities as well as young adults who need guidance in entering the working world. Within its sheltered workshops, each individual finds a safe and stimulating environment to develop skills, build self-confidence, and take part in meaningful work. Supervisors support employees at every stage, encouraging personal growth, autonomy, and social integration.

Work within these workshops allows each person to discover their abilities, experience the satisfaction of a job well done, and contribute to concrete projects. In the woodworking workshop, wood becomes a material to explore and transform: each plank is worked with precision and assembled with care. Employees learn to handle tools, understand different types of wood, and master joinery techniques, while watching their work take shape in their hands.

Maison Myrthus collaborated with the Foundation to create an elegant and functional beechwood box, featuring an invisible magnetic closure, precise box-joint construction, and a matte finish. Each box reflects the care and expertise of the workshop’s employees, transforming an everyday object into a handcrafted piece filled with meaning.
