At Maison Myrthus, packaging is part of the experience.
Not an accessory, but an object in its own right.

It protects what matters, accompanies the moment of giving, and, in some cases, continues to live in the home long after the gift is opened.

Because needs and preferences differ, we offer several packaging options, each designed with a specific intention, use, and level of permanence in mind.

The Kraft box, our recyclable option, designed with care

For those who prefer a simple solution that fits easily into daily life, we offer a fully recyclable packaging option.

This box is made from 70% recycled material and can be recycled through the standard cardboard recycling system in Switzerland. It is designed for people who do not need an additional box to keep, display, or store at home.

The design is intentionally minimal, while still retaining a premium feel through carefully chosen details, such as a recycled polyester ribbon, ensuring the experience remains considered, even in its most restrained form.

The signature box, designed to last

For those who wish to keep and reuse their box, we offer a reusable storage box, designed for long-term use and display in the home.

The structure is made from grey cardboard and covered with a dark beige WIBALIN® paper produced from ECF pulp, in accordance with ISO 14001 environmental management standards.

This box is designed as a refined storage or display object, elegant, durable, and made to remain part of everyday life.

The wooden box, designed as a permanent object

The wooden box is the most enduring packaging option we offer.

Crafted from beech wood, it features straight tail joinery, a magnetic closure, and a matte varnish finish that highlights the natural grain of the wood.

Designed specifically for Maison Myrthus, this box is conceived as a permanent object, not only to hold a gift, but to become part of the home itself.

Its added value lies in its longevity, materiality, and presence: a box made to be displayed, reused, and appreciated over time, long after the initial moment of gifting.

Inside every box

Regardless of the exterior chosen, the inside of each Maison Myrthus box is prepared with equal care.

Interior materials

  • Wood wool
  • Filling paper made from 100% recycled paper
  • Kraft paper
  • Chlorine- and acid-free FSC white silk paper
  • Additional paper- or kraft-based protection layers when required
  • Stickers used to secure certain items during transport

Each layer serves a clear purpose: protection, cohesion, and respect for the objects it holds.

Where our packaging is made

Our packaging components are sourced from several specialized suppliers, with production taking place mainly in Europe.

Elements such as the kraft boxes, filler paper, tape, and shipping boxes come from different European partners.

Our signature ribbon is made in France, while the Kraft box is produced in Lithuania, and the wooden box produced in Switzerland.

Over time, we aim to work with more Swiss packaging manufacturers whenever it is relevant and makes sense for the object and its use.

This is not always possible today, depending on materials, techniques, and available production, but it remains a direction we actively explore as Maison Myrthus grows.
